One of the Marin Art & Garden Center’s longest-serving members of the Board of Trustees recently announced her retirement. Nanette Londeree (second from right) has helped lead MAGC into a new era of stability and relevance, and as the Board Secretary, has been instrumental in keeping the organization running smoothly. Her fellow Board member, Ed Lewis (far right), wrote the following tribute to her tremendous service to our organization:
Nanette has been a fellow traveler with all of us for my nine years on the Board, a beacon of constant strength, determination, commitment, knowledge, judgment, organization, and clear thinking, especially when all about us was difficult, and extremely challenging. She has worked extremely hard for the Center and we all and the community are deeply in debt to her. She has been a pleasure to serve with in every way and we will miss her and her counsel greatly on all of the incredibly wide ranging matters with which she has so ably dealt. Be assured that we shall continue working to make the Center all it can be, whether on the Board or off.
Please join us in wishing Nanette the best as she moves on to new adventures!
