Join us for a reception to mark the opening of this exciting retrospective, with speaker Chester Arnold, artist and former College of Marin faculty member. You’ll enjoy the first look at this exhibition of Betty Wilson’s work, which includes over 40 paintings spanning 50 years and allows us to celebrate a woman who loved her creative journey.

Artist, teacher, friend and neighbor Betty Wilson’s life (1920-2014) was a journey in artistic exploration and excellence. Always prioritizing design principles including pattern, proportion, balance and contrast, her paintings were masterful in their use of form, composition and color. Her studies in portraiture, geometry and abstraction were masterful. Betty Wilson not only taught at the College of Marin, but was also an active member of the Marin Society of Artists.
