Join Kathleen Hill and Lisa Lavagetto for a fun cooking demo creating three recipes from Kathleen’s book, Kitchen Memories: Cucumber Cooler (p. 44), Cinnamon Toast I (p. 56), and Waldorf Salad (p. 78), using tools from her extensive collection of more than 3000 kitchen objects.

Enjoy the “Kitchen Memories 1945-1965” exhibition of utensils and kitchen gadgets on display, from the Kathleen Thompson Hill Culinary Collection. This exhibition reflects cooking styles in the early years of the Marin Art & Garden Center, when volunteers raised funds through teas, lunches, and a café.

Kathleen Hill is the Food & Wine Editor for the Sonoma Index-Tribune, a culinary historian, and a noted figure in the North Bay food universe.

Lisa Lavagetto is Chef Ambassador and instructor at the Ramekins Culinary School in Sonoma.
