DATE: July 19, 2018

TIME: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Happnstance, an indie-folk trio born out of the San Francisco Bay Area, found itself together by chance. Each member, having sung with one of the others in years past, found their paths crossing after returning back from far flung locations. Yearning for a musical outlet, the three convened in the living room of a Mission home in the Fall of 2015.

Sean Simerly, Maria Pougiales-Posey, and Danielle Bezalel learned that their voices were stronger together than apart, and that no single formula for songwriting found its way to the top. Instead, the three craft melodies that stumble upon themselves; they discover harmonies that clash yet comfort; and by the end of each song leave the audience feeling something more than they had before.

Please join us for Conservation Night at the MAGC Summer Concert Series on July 19!

Local conservation groups from throughout Marin will be on hand to share their expertise with hands-on exhibits for everyone.  Learn about your local habitat and what you can do to protect it.  Plan a school nature project, track backyard wildlife, or learn how to create a toxin-free yard for your pets and children to enjoy.

The One Tam Roving Ranger van, Wildcare, Wisdom Supply Company, the Environmental Forum of Marin, Marin Sanitary Service, YardSmart Marin and more will all have displays and volunteers on hand to answer questions.

And here’s the lineup of upcoming bands!
