Join Homestead Design Collective’s Lead Edible Gardener, Sierra Vasquez for this intimate, interactive gardening class. Prepare to get your hands dirty and learn how to strategically maximize the abundance and beauty of your summer edible garden. We’ll make sure to cover everything tomato-related, including favorite heirloom tomato varieties, pruning, trellising, and general care, but we’ll also cover companion planting, succession planting, planting thoughtfully for pollinators (which is so important for favorite summer squashes), and more. We’ll discuss space-saving vegetables for small-space gardens, and the herbs and edible flowers we love to round out warm-weather vegetable beds. You’ll also plant seeds and seedlings in the MAGC Edible Garden to practice Sierra’s tips and tricks of the trade. You’ll leave with all of the tools for a successful summer bounty!

Cost: $25 per person
